Our Mission

Bonnets for Babies is dedicated to our mission of providing warmth and comfort to young children in need in Western New York. By coordinating with community partners and organizations, BFB collects and distributes a variety of new warm clothing, blankets and outerwear to keep little ones warm and cozy during the cold winter months. 

 

2023 Successes.

In 2023, BFB provided over 1000 items to children including hats, mittens, scarves, coats, pajamas, socks, blankets, and more. In addition to providing warmth, these items also provide comfort and hope to families who may be experiencing difficult times.

Bonnets for Babies has developed a very special relationship with the knitting and crocheting group at The Amberleigh Senior Living in Williamsville. These talented and compassionate women have been with BFB since its inception and regularly create beautiful handmade hats, blankets, sweaters and other warm clothing items. BFB then distributes these to children in need. We are so grateful for their support and dedication to BFB and its mission.
